Inclusive Corporate Team Building: Sitting Volleyball in Legnano for Sport and Collaboration
Sitting Volleyball is increasingly recognized as an effective tool for inclusive corporate team building, transforming sport into a concrete experience of collaboration, listening, and team spirit.
In Legnano, the initiative was promoted by ASD Vomien SS Martiri Legnano and supported by the Fondazione VINCI Italia, following a proposal by Telematic Solutions, with the aim of enhancing inclusive sport as a lever for corporate and territorial development.
Inclusive Team Building in Legnano
On Thursday, June 18, at the SS Martiri sports hall in the Oltrestazione area of Legnano, a dedicated Sitting Volleyball session was held as part of an inclusive team building experience.
From 8 to 10 p.m., employees took part in a hands-on activity on the court, experiencing game dynamics based on communication, coordination, and continuous cooperation.
The activity transformed the playing field into a learning environment, where team performance depended on the ability to act in a coordinated and inclusive way.
Inclusive Sport and Corporate Value
Inclusive sport is now recognized as an effective experiential training methodology, capable of strengthening group dynamics and turning differences into a valuable resource.
Sitting Volleyball highlights how results depend on the quality of collaboration, a principle that can be directly transferred to corporate environments.
Statement from the VINCI Italia Foundation
The value of the initiative was highlighted by the CFO of VINCI Energies Italia, representing the VINCI Italia Foundation:
“An extraordinary evening that confirms the power of sport in immediately promoting fundamental values such as inclusion. For the VINCI Italia Foundation, inclusion is an integral part of our DNA and guides the way we operate every day.”
