The event combined sporting competitions at Parco Nord Milano with a gala dinner and awards ceremony at Palazzo del Ghiaccio.

On Saturday, 10 October 2026, Milan became the meeting point for companies and professionals from across the European space industry, hosting the 47th edition of Ariane Cross, the annual event that celebrates sporting achievement, team spirit and professional connections.

Organised by Telematic Solutions in collaboration with the Ariane Cross Committee, the event welcomed 720 participants representing 35 teams across two venues: Parco Nord Milano, where the sporting competitions took place, and Palazzo del Ghiaccio, which hosted the evening celebrations.

This record-breaking edition once again demonstrated the value of Ariane Cross as a unique opportunity for companies, professionals and key players in the European space industry to come together, strengthening relationships through sport, collaboration and a shared passion for space.

A Day of Sport, Team Spirit and Competition

The morning unfolded at Parco Nord Milano, where participants took part in four sporting events designed to welcome runners of different abilities while celebrating both individual performance and teamwork.

The programme featured three individual races over 10 km, 5 km and 2.5 km, followed by a 6 km corporate relay, divided into four 1.5 km legs.

More than just a running competition, Ariane Cross provides a valuable opportunity to connect beyond the everyday professional environment, strengthen relationships between colleagues and build new connections across the European space community.

Through sport, participants share experiences, challenge themselves and reinforce the spirit of collaboration that underpins the event year after year.

The second part of Ariane Cross Milan 2026 took place at Milan’s historic Palazzo del Ghiaccio, which welcomed participants for the gala dinner and awards ceremony.

The evening brought together competitors, company representatives and guests from across the European space community, providing further opportunities for networking, dialogue and celebration in a convivial atmosphere.

The awards ceremony recognised the achievements of individual runners and teams, celebrating not only sporting results but also the commitment, cooperation and team spirit that define Ariane Cross. The gala also marked the handover to the next edition. Ariane Cross 2027 will take place in Barcelona, hosted by Celeres, continuing a European tradition that brings people and organisations together through sport and a shared passion for space.
